我们最近一直在研究两种癫痫模型。第一个模型是颞叶中叶癫痫(MTLE)小鼠模型。我们评估了多参数定量核磁共振成像(包括结构和灌注数据)的优势,以及 GABA 编辑波谱的优势,首先使用单体素 MEGA-PRESS 方法,然后使用内部开发的波谱成像工具。这两种方法可以结合使用,有助于划定致痫区,从而改善癫痫患者脑部手术的效果。第二个模型是大鼠癫痫缺失模型,我们评估了在清醒动物中进行 fMRI 的益处,采用了更安静、零回波时间的方法。因此,我们可以比较发作期和发作间期大脑对视觉刺激的反应。总之,临床前磁共振成像似乎是描述致痫区特征和了解癫痫发作如何扰乱大脑功能的有力工具。

主讲人简介

Emmanuel Barbier博士,Grenoble神经科学研究所所长

Barbier博士深耕于磁共振成像物理学。在物理学和生物学之间,他致力于磁共振成像方法的开发,以描述脑部微血管(动脉自旋标记和基于感性的方法):血流量、血容量、血脑屏障通透性、血管大小/密度和组织氧饱和度。Barbier博士的主要应用领域是急性脑部病变,如脑肿瘤和中风,以及涉及神经血管单元的其他病变,如癫痫,包括实验模型和病人。自 2021 年起,他担任格勒诺布尔神经科学研究所 IRMaGe 设施的主任。
