This webinar focuses on the verification of nanoscale dynamic mechanical analysis (nanoDMA III) for industrial polymer thin films using both time and temperature variation and in comparison to macroscale tensile DMA.
The time dependence in polymers requires a different approach to that of traditional indentation of metals. The viscoelasticity, pressure dependence, and contact stiffness are all vastly different than that found in metals or ceramics, and must be taken into account.
