Learn from Bruker's Nanomechanical Test Experts
Join our Nanomechanical Test technical and applications experts for virtual and in-person courses in our Customer Support Centers around the world. You will learn about the principles and theory, practical applications, and operational tips and tricks for a number of nanomechanical testing techniques. Each course has a specialized focus and most classes include both theoretical presentations and lab work over the course of multiple days or sessions. During in-person lab sessions, attendees can practice each technique on Bruker instruments in our demonstration facilities and are invited to use their own samples. Upon request, students may also stay an additional day to have more hands-on time in the lab.
While there is a charge to attend the courses, customers with Complete Care or Access Care service contracts are eligible for free tuition. Others under service contract should contact BrukerNSDServiceOrders@bruker.com for information about available discounts.
Nanoindentation Basics and Hands-on Training (Ti-Premier)
Over this 3-days training program, participants will focus on the fundamentals of nanoindentation and its application using Bruker Ni products. This is an excellent opportunity for nanoindentation enthusiasts to gain practical experience with our flagship products. If you are new to the system or need a refresher, you have the option to participate in either individual days or the entire course, depending on your personal needs.
The course covers the fundamentals of nanoindentation. The second- and third-day focus on basic software usage, tip selection, tip installation, and standard experiments using low load transducer. Additionally, a brief overview of the analysis functions will be provided.

- TriboScan Software – Basics
- TriboScan Software – System Calibrations
Day 2:
- Quasi-Static testing
- Data Analysis
- Tip Shape Calibration
- Automated Testing
Day 3:
- Tip Shape Calibration continued
- Machine Compliance
- XPM/SPM
Conditions: Daily lunch is provided. Participants are responsible for their own transportation and accommodations. Registration will close two weeks (10 working days) before the training begins. Please note that the number of participants is limited. If the class reaches full capacity, we will make an effort to schedule another training session in the future. If fewer than three persons register, the course will be canceled.
