This one-hour webinar will demonstrate the use of Total reflection X-Ray Fluorescence (TXRF) spectroscopy in medical and biological research.
Today, the crucial role of trace element analysis is well recognized.
For hair analysis as well as in biological and medical research TXRF spectroscopy offers a perfect technique for the fast and easy analysis of main and trace elements. These include elements like bromine or selenium, which are generally difficult to analyze with methods like ICP-MS. In most cases the samples can be analyzed directly or after a simple dilution or homogenization in pure water. The necessary amount of samples for a complete analysis is only restricted by the working range of the applied balances or pipettes and can go down to a few µg or µl.
During this webinar, you will find out more about element analysis of human hair samples. We will also talk about rapid sample preparation and the ease of use of this technique, as well as presenting several examples for the analysis of different biological and medical samples.
There will be a 15 minute Q&A live session where our experts will answer your questions.
