X-ray and Elemental Analysis

Bruker Analytical X-Ray Solutions (AXS) Division develops and manufactures instruments for structural and elemental analysis in materials research, life science and quality control. 

Our solutions cover bulk material and surface sensitive X-Ray Diffraction (XRD), biological and chemical crystallography, wavelength and energy dispersive X-Ray Fluorescence (XRF) analysis, 3D X-Ray Microscopy (XRM), Optical Emission Spectroscopy (OES), and combustion and fusion gas analysis. We also offer a variety of benchtop micro X-ray fluorescence micro analyzers (micro-XRF) for spatially resolved composition analysis and total reflection X-ray fluorescence (TXRF) instruments for trace element analysis for a multitude of applications in industry and research. The handheld/mobile/portable X-ray fluorescence spectrometers (handheld XRF) provide the capability to non-destructively quantify or qualify nearly any element from magnesium to uranium, delivering fast, on-site elemental analysis in a broad range of application fields. Bruker’s in-line XRF system delivers the benefits of elemental analysis production and sorting environments, allowing for the rapid analysis, qualification and sorting of components and materials on an industrial scale.  

Bruker systems emphasize modularity and flexibility. We offer the widest available variety of sources, optics, sample environments and detectors, along with expert advice on configuring the optimal system. Entry-level system can be reconfigured or upgraded to meet changing requirements. Our solutions are easy to operate using TouchControl and one-button automation.
