Info:
This 4-day course is designed to give users an introduction to dynamic nuclear polarization (DNP) techniques and equipment. Users will gain hands-on experience operating low-temperature (LT) MAS probes as well as Bruker microwave sources (i.e. gyrotron & klystron). Additional topics include DNP sample preparation methods as well as tips for optimizing DNP performance. Upon completion of this course, users will be able to independently operate a Bruker DNP system.
Topics:
Prerequisite:
This course requires graduate-level understanding of (and preferably hands-on experience with) MAS NMR techniques, including CP MAS experiments. For example, attendees should already be familiar with content of Bruker Solids Course (offered the preceding week).
Equipment:
All attendees will be trained on both gyrotron and klystron systems
Instructors: one PhD Applications Scientist per instrument.
