The Mini 0.75 MR-Microscopy gradient coil in conjunction with the MiniWB57R rf probe offers the largest possible sample diameter for Bruker wide bore magnets. Samples of up to 40 mm OD can be investigated. The probe offers open access from bottom to top for e.g. hose or pipe setups as well as dedicated animal handling systems to position, support anesthesia and monitor small rodents, such as, mice and small/young rats.
Rat brain images acquired in a 35 mm ID MiniWB57R rf probe. The gradient echo images demonstrate the possibility to center the rat brain in this probe type. Rat abdomen experiments are limited to surface coils by the restricted space.
