Before joining Bruker, my career involved technical roles in the nuclear power industry and then medical instrumentation. At Bruker, my job has required to work closely with customers and sales colleagues. This was uncharted territory for me, and although I approached it with humility, I did have some preconceptions. Since then, I have discovered the amazing work biomedical researchers do with our instruments and the value of commercial organizations.
Reflecting on my years as a young physics and electronics student, having a job where I get to work with advanced technology, hardware, and software feels like a dream come true. Traveling the world, meeting people from diverse backgrounds and cultures, and realizing that we all share the same core values, needs, and aspirations is incredibly rewarding.
The meaning of what I do is important. Being part of a business that strives to create ever-better instruments to support research against some of humankind’s most pernicious illnesses, such as cancer and Alzheimer’s, is deeply fulfilling.
My job as a Product Manager involves collaborating with various functions within the company to ensure our Nuclear Molecular Imaging products, like the PET/CT Si78 and PET Inserts, provide the best value for our customers in a very competitive market.
