All courses take place onsite at Bruker UK and utilize our applications laboratory to combine seminars with practical spectrometer operation and data analysis.
The Operators Course provides an overview of TopSpin and basic NMR spectrometer operation for users who are new to Bruker systems or have recently begun a role in NMR technical support. The course covers many aspects of basic NMR theory, spectrometer calibration, data processing, and automation. Processing exercises are written for both TopSpin and Mnova.
The Applications Course introduces more advanced operations in TopSpin and is ideal for users who have completed the Operator Course and/or have additional spectrometer operational experience. The course covers many aspects including a review of current software, advanced calibrations, and specialist topics such as relaxation, diffusion, automation programming, ligand-observe screening, biomolecular NMR, and new/emerging NMR methods. Topics covered in the Applications Course are always timely and course content is regularly reviewed.
The Solids NMR (iProbe) Course provides an introduction to using solid-state NMR with a CPMAS iProbe. Topics covered include TopSpin usage and simulations, probe changes, setting the magic angle, shimming, pulse calibration, basic experiments, and automation with solid-state NMR. Users who have other solids NMR probes should please contact us before registering.
