XRF Live Online Seminar:

XRF in the Petrochemical Industry - From Refinery Feedstock to Fuels and Lubricants

Description

Immediate and reliable elemental information for process and quality control in the petrochemical industry is provided by X-ray Fluorescence (XRF) spectrometry. It enables norm compliant analysis of various elements at different process stages and in final fuel products (e.g., ASTM D2622, ASTM D7220, ISO 20884), as well as in the subsequent downstream supply chain such as tank farms and depots. Moreover, XRF plays an important role in evaluating lubricant additives and detecting wear metals in high-speed engine oils, crucial for maintaining the integrity of high-quality products, as outlined in ASTM D6443 and DIN 51399.

There are different XRF technologies, like compact energy-dispersive systems (EDXRF) and large high-end wavelength-dispersive systems (WDXRF). The right technique for your task depends on the analytical requirements. In this online seminar we will provide guidance based on use cases for a broad range of applications in the petrochemical industry.

Register now to learn what XRF can do for you! In two lab sessions, we will show how easy it is to operate our spectrometers and provide valuable tips and tricks. Our experts will answer your questions during our Q&A session.

Materials include the seminar recording, presentation, and Q&A summary.
